No Indian In Babar Azam-Led ICC Men's T20 Team Of The Year 2021
Pakistani players have dominated the ICC Men's T20 team for year 2021. Along with Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi have also secured a place in the team.
New Delhi: Pakistan's Babar Azam has been named the captain of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's T20 team for the year 2021, announced on Wednesday. However, Indian fans are quite disappointed as no Indian player has been given a place in the team. Apart from Babar, two other Pakistani players, who reached the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup last year, have made it to the ICC T20 team.
Pakistani players have dominated the ICC Men's T20 team, announced by the ICC. Along with Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan and Shaheen Afridi have also secured a place in the team.
Mohammad Rizwan was selected as the opener. Last one year has been a memorable one for wicket-keeper batter Rizwan as he scored a record 1326 runs in 29 matches. Babar Azam was second in this list with 939 runs.

ICC picked Jos Buttler as Rizwan's opening partner in the team, while South Africa's Aiden Markram has been kept for No. 4 batting position. David Miller and Tabrez Shamsi have been included in the team as middle-order batters. Sri Lanka's Wanindu Hasaranga and Bangladesh's Mustafizur Rahman also secured a spot in the ICC Men's T20 XI of 2021.
