'Hypocrisy Is Mind-Boggling' - Virender Sehwag Savage Tweet After AUS-SA Test Finishes In Two Days
Former India batter Virender Sehwag also came up with a tweet about the nature of the wicket in Brisbane.
Fans across the world were in deep shock as the first Test between Australia and South Africa in Brisbane concluded in just two days on Sunday. The Kangaroos registered a six-wicket victory over the Proteas. In the span of two days, 34 wickets fell and that forced Elgar to ask the umpires whether the pitch was safe to play on.
"I did ask the umpires how long it goes on for before it is essentially unsafe," he said. "That's where the umpires' discretion comes in -- it's not up to us players."
Former India batter Virender Sehwag also came up with a tweet about the nature of the wicket in Brisbane.
142 overs and not even lasting 2 days and they have the audacity to lecture on what kind of pitches are needed. Had it happened in India, it would have been labelled end of test cricket, ruining test cricket and what not. The Hypocrisy is mind-boggling . #AUSvSA
