According to Times of India, Hardik Pandya has fully recovered from his ankle injury and has started training on a regular basis.
The former Gujarat Titans captain was traded to Mumbai Indians days before the IPL 2024 Auction in an all-cash deal of 15 crore. The seriousness and the nature of the injury became severe and subsequently forced Hardik Pandya to miss the remainder of the World Cup, followed by the tour of South Africa.
The T20I series with Afghanistan will be a three-match series to be played in India, starting January 11 and return of Hardik Pandya will boost the team's morale as they aim to prepare for the upcoming T20I World Cup.
