New Delhi: Gujarat Lions won the toss and chose to field first in an all important IPL encounter against Royal Challengers Bangalore in Rajkot.


There are two forced changes in the RCB playing XI. Injured AB de Villiers has made way for Chris Gayle and niggle has forced leg spinner Samuel Badree to sit out. Australian top order batsman Travis Head has been drafted into the side to strengthen the batting order.


For Gujarat there are three changes. Aaron Finch and his kit bag have been reunited. They are both back in the XI. Shivil Kaushik and Dhawal Kulkarni are also in the XI. Roy, Praveen Kumar and Munaf Patel are out.


Both sides are desperate for a win to set their dismal campaigns rolling.


RCB XI: Gayle, Kohli (c), Watson, Mandeep, Head, Jadhav (wk), Binny, Negi, Milne, Aravind, Chahal


Lions XI: McCullum, Smith, Raina (c), Finch, Karthik (wk), Kishan, Jadeja, Kulkarni, Thampi, Tye, Kaushik
