Gujarat opt to bowl, Faulkner comes in, KKR play Shakib

New Delhi: Gujarat Lions captain Suresh Raina chose to field first after winning the toss against Kolkata Kinght Riders in an IPL match at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.

Ending a long wait, Gujarat finally decided to include Australia all-rounder James Faulkner in the playing XI in expense of fast bowler Andrew Tye.

For, the hosts Colin de Grandhomme made way for a long-time KKR servant Shakib-Al-Hasan, who is expected to provide depth in the batting and spin bowling department.

It is almost a must win game for Gujarat as they are languishing at the bottom of the table with just 1 win in their kitty.
