If Gayle scores 7 or more runs against India in the 2nd ODI of the 3-match series at Queen's Park Oval in  Trinidad, he will go past batting great Brian Lara's run tally of 10,348 for the West Indies. In a career full of accolades and achievements, the left-handed opening batsman has amassed 10,342 runs for the Windies in 295 matches. He is West Indies leading century maker in ODIs with 25 tons. The 2nd ODI shall also be Gayle's 300th one day international of his career. When he takes to the field against India, he shall become the first West Indian to achieve the mark. He is currently tied with Brian Lara on 299 one day matches.
