Finch smashes 45-ball century against Middlesex in Vitality Blast T20

Star Australian batsman Aaron Finch played a blistering knock in the Vitality T20 Blast on Friday as he smashed a magnificent 45-ball century against the Middlesex at the Kennington Oval. Playing for Surrey, he ended up scoring an unbeaten 117 off just 52 balls and hit 11 fours and eight sixes in his inning.

Middlesex batted first and with the help of Paul Sterling’s century, they posted a mammoth total of 221 runs at the cost of 5 wickets. In return, Jason Roy and Finch top-scored and helped Surrey win the match by nine wickets with 24 balls to spare.

The dynamic English batsman piled up 84 runs from 37 balls. The opening due to stitched a 194-run partnership before James Fuller dismissed Roy in the 14th over.

Meanwhile, Finch smashed his first fifty off just 16 balls. However, from that point, his strike rate lowered as he consumed 29 more deliveries to reach the three-figure.
