New Delhi: one of cricket’s strangest scorecards emerged from U-19 one-day game between Nagaland and Manipur where the batting side (Nagaland) managed to put 215 runs on the board in 38 overs, but with only two batters crossing the double-digit mark.
The Manipur bowlers were quick in taking wickets but were inconsistent throughout the innings, failing to maintain their line & length and in return gifted their opposition with whopping 112 extras (94 wides).
Nagaland’s Mushkan (54) and Pori (24) were only two batters reaching the double figures.
For Manipur, skipper Linthoingambi Rajkumari was the only successful bowler as she returned with 4/34 in 10 overs.
