Remarkably, one England fan went the extra mile, showing exceptional dedication by being present at the stadium on Monday despite having been hospitalised the day before. The Barmy Army revealed in a social media post on X that Dan, the dedicated fan, required medical attention due to food poisoning and dehydration on Sunday. Despite facing health challenges, Dan showed extraordinary determination, heading straight to the cricket ground on Monday after being discharged from the hospital, as mentioned by the fan group.
England captain, Ben Stokes, acknowledged and appreciated the remarkable effort made by Dan, expressing his gratitude with a special message on social media.
