BCCI Secretary Jay Shah Presents World Cup Golden Ticket To Amitabh Bachchan

The BCCI secretary Jay Shah on Tuesday presented the Golden Ticket of the World Cup to Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.

The ODI World Cup 2023 is just a month away from us as the prestigious ICC event will start from October 5 in Ahmedabad. The Indian team slash declared their 15-player squad for the mega event on Tuesday where Rohit Sharma will be leading the side while Hardik Pandya has been named Rohit’s deputy. The likes of Tilak Varma, Sanju Samson, and Yuzvendra Chahal could not manage to make a cut in the team.

Fans have already started buying the tickets for the World Cup. The BCCI secretary Jay Shah on Tuesday presented the Golden Ticket of the World Cup to Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan.

The BCCI took to its social media handle and posted a picture with the caption, "Golden ticket for our golden icons! BCCI Honorary Secretary @JayShah had the privilege of presenting our golden ticket to none other than the "Superstar of the Millennium," Shri @SrBachchan. The 2023 edition of the ODI World Cup will provide a golden opportunity for India to win an ICC trophy after a long gap that too on their home soil. The Indian team have not won a single ICC trophy since 2013. Rohit Sharma-led Indian team will start their ICC Men's ODI World Cup 2023 campaign with a match against five-time winners Australia on October 8 at Chennai's MA Chidambaram stadium. The hosts then play against Afghanistan next on October 9 followed by a mega-clash against arch-nemesis Pakistan at Ahmedabad's Narendra Modi stadium on October 14.
