Green followed the same recovery process as followed by James Pattinson, Jason Behrendorff, Ben Dwarshuis, New Zealand pacers Shane Bond and Matt Henry which required having screws and a titanium cable fused into the lower back. The process is done to provide stability to the stress fracture and acts as a precautionary measure as well.
