Here's why Anushka Sharma is now the 19th member of Team India
Anushka Sharma is officially the 19th member of Team India in England. Virat Kohli has time and again given credit to Anushka for his on-field performances and on Wednesday the Bollywood actress was the only one apart from the 17 Indian cricketers (Rishabh Pant was not present) and the support staff to pose for a photograph at the Indian High Commission in London.

The Indian team is in London for the second of the five-match Test series and on Wednesday, a day before the 2nd Test at Lord’s, Kohli and Co. took time off to visit the High Commission of India in London. The BCCI official twitter handle tweeted the photo and it took no time for netizens to pounce on Anushka Sharma.
Twitterati did not like Anushka’s presence in the middle of the photograph, where the entire Indian team and delegates were present.

Interestingly, there were reports about BCCI barring the wives of the Indian cricketers from travelling with the team till the third Test match but Anushka was present even in the first Test match at Birmingham when Kohli scored his first hundred in England.
