Young Afghanistan’s player wreaked havoc by hammering seven sixes in an over against Amir Zazai.
The unimaginable incident transpired during a Kabul Premier League cricket match when Sediqullah Atal smashed seven sixes off one over. Smashing six sixes in an over is a rare sight and only a few cricketers have reached that milestone.
Young Afghanistan’s player wreaked havoc by hammering seven sixes in an over against Amir Zazai. He also became only the second player to hit seven sixes in a row after India’s Ruturaj Gaikwad. Sediqullah reached the feat on Saturday in the ongoing 2023 Kabul Premier League match between the Shaheen Hunters and the Abasin Defenders at the Ayobi Cricket Stadium in Kabul.
While leading the Shaheen Hunters, Sediqullah Atal smashed 118 runs in just 56 balls, and in the 19th over of the game, he went crazy off Amir Zazai’s over where he collected 48 runs. Sediqullah hammered a maximum off a no-ball in the first delivery before the bowler gave away five wides and the next six balls were deposited in the stands.
