AB de Villiers to be the NEW COACH of this international side
It is yet to be known how soon AB makes him available for a new role with the South African side
Former South African skipper and devastating batsman AB de Villiers might join the Proteas national side soon in a coaching role. Cricket South Africa (CSA) CEO Thabang Moroe has stated that AB has indicated interest in a consultancy role in the future.
As per media reports, Moroe has a conversation "two days after De Villiers’retirement" and asked whether he would like to accept the coaching role. His reply surely delighted the CSA CEO following which he addressed the media and said,
“He has indicated it would be something he is keen on. But we need to talk about the scale.”

“AB has just retired with the notion of him wanting to spend more time with family. If I am going to put him in the development or pipeline structures and he ends up spending more time away than when he was in the national team, it is obviously not going to work for him,” added Moroe.
At the same, it is yet to be known how soon AB makes him available for a new role with the South African side.
“We need to sit down and agree on how we are going to do it when we are doing it and the details around it. But it's something he has indicated he would like to do,” said Moroe.
Known as ‘Mr 360 degree’ of cricket, AB said goodbye to the international cricketer in the month of June but has decided to continue playing IPL and domestic cricket for Titans.
Earlier in December 2017, he returned in the cricket field after a long break and scored seven half-centuries and a hundred in eight Tests on comeback, before hanging up his boots so early in his career.
