WATCH: 52-Year-Old Inzamam-Ul-Haq Smashes Massive Six In T10 Competition, Video Goes Viral

Inzamam-Ul-Haq ended up scoring 29 off just 16 balls and gave his fans much to cherish during his knock for Karachi Knights in the Mega Stars League.

Former Pakistan captain Inzamam-ul-Haq is a respected name in the cricketing fraternity. While he led Pakistan to many a memorable triumphs, he was a batter par excellence often known for his elegance.

Seems like the class and the talent that he used to ooze during his playing days hasn't left him. In fact, over a decade and a bit after he played his last international game, Inzamam rolled back the years and played a few delightful strokes in a T10 competition featuring current and previous cricketers from Pakistan.

The ex-Pakistan selector ended up scoring 29 off just 16 balls and gave his fans much to cherish during his knock for Karachi Knights in the Mega Stars League. The 52-year-old came out to bat when another Pakistan legend and someone who has shared the national team dressing room with- Shahid Afridi, the skipper of the team, got run out.

While he did not resort to any of the modern day cricketing strokes like the scoop or the reverse sweep, he stuck to his skills and played the cut and the pull to perfection. A shot that stood out was him dancing down the pitch to hit a massive six towards long on. Ultimately, Inzamam retired hurt to allow other batters to have a go.

Babar Azam shatters Inzamam Ul Haq's 17-year-old record

Meanwhile, current Pakistan captain Babar Azam broke Inzamam's 17-year-old record during the third Test match against England in Karachi. Even though Babar hasn't been at his prolific best, he still managed to become the only Pakistan skipper to record over 1000 Test runs in a calendar year. Babar scored 54 off 107 balls in the second innings and went past Inzamam's tally of 999 runs from 7 Test matches which he had accumulated in 2005.

Despite Babar's knock, the Men in Green lost the match by 8 wickets and the series 0-3. The clean sweep was a remarkable feat for the Ben Stokes-led England team as it was the Three Lions' first tour of the country in 17 years.
