Australia's Alana King Dismisses Batter By Recreating Shane Warne-Style 'Ball Of The Century' In Fitting Tribute - Watch Video

Australia's Alana Kings bamboozled England's Tammy Beaumont with her leg-spin that spun miles away from the batter straight to the wicket-keeper, ultimately getting her stumped.

New Delhi: The entire cricketing fraternity was left in shock after hearing news of the sudden demise of Australian cricketing legend Shane Warne. The cricketer's management confirmed on Friday evening that the ex-Aussie spinner died due to a heart attack in Thailand. He was 52. Warne's friends tried saving him but despite several attempts, they failed to revive him.

Meanwhile, Australia women's cricket team player Alana Kings tried recreating Shane Warne's iconic 'ball of the century' in a match against England in the ongoing ICC Women's World Cup.

During their World Cup fixture, players of both England and Australia sported black armbands to pay tribute to Shane Warne.

Australia's Alana Kings bamboozled England's Tammy Beaumont with her leg-spin that spun miles away from the batter straight to the wicket-keeper, ultimately getting her stumped. Kings paid a fitting tribute to late Warne as she tapped on her black armband after taking Beaumont's wicket.

Alana Kings played a crucial role in her team's 12-run win over England. She scalped three wickets in this match.

England won the toss and asked Australia to bat first. Rachael Haynes (130) and Meg Lanning (86) starred with the bat to power Australia to a mammoth 310/3 against England.

Chasing 311 to win, England had one of the worst starts as they lost quick wickets early on. Natalie Sciver then scored a century to keep England alive in the hunt but her efforts were not enough as her team lost the game by just 12 runs.

Australia's next World Cup match is on Tuesday where they will lock horns with Pakistan at Bay Oval whereas England will aim to bounce back with a win when they take on West Indies in Dunedin on Wednesday.
