Jharkhand Election Results: Early Trends Show BJP, Jharkhand Locked In Neck-And-Neck Contest

Jharkhand Election Results 2024: The 2024 Jharkhand assembly elections appear to be a closely watched battle, with exit polls indicating a possible shift in the state's political landscape.

Jharkhand Election Results 2024: Vote counting is in progress for the 81 assembly seats in Jharkhand, beginning with the postal ballots as per the standard procedure. Based on ground reports and verified inputs, early trends are emerging on ABP News, providing an initial glimpse into voter sentiment. However, it is essential to note the caution raised by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Rajiv Kumar regarding early trends. Speaking during the announcement of poll dates, CEC criticised the practice of projecting results just 15–30 minutes after counting begins. He questioned, “How are you getting trends even before 9:10 a.m.? This mismatch between early projections and actual results can sometimes lead to serious issues and public frustration.”
