The round-of-16 stage of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar commenced on Sunday, January 28th. The tournament features 24 men's football teams, divided into six groups labeled Group A to F, as per the competition format.

In the AFC Asian Cup 2023 in Qatar, teams in each group competed against each other once in a single-headed round-robin format. The top two teams from each group advance directly to the round of 16 (knockout stage).

In addition to the top two teams from each group, the final 16 of the AFC Asian Cup 2023 also includes the four best third-placed teams across all groups.
