8 women wrestlers to represent India at 2017 Senior World Wrestling C'ship
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 7 (ANI): Eight women wrestlers, including Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik and Pooja Dhanda, will be representing India at the 2017 Senior World Wrestling Championship.
A selection trial was conducted at the STC, Lucknow on Friday for participation at the event to be held in August.
The following female wrestlers were selected to represent India in the said competition:
• 48 Kg category. Vinesh Phogat
• 53 Kg category. Sheetal
• 55 Kg category. Lalita
• 58 Kg category. Pooja Dhanda
• 60 Kg category. Sakshi Malik
• 63 Kg category. Shilpi
• 69 Kg category. Navjot Kaur
• 75 Kg category. Pooja (ANI)
