The tournament being recognized by the Mumbai Cricket Association, this officially becomes the first instance of a T20 double century in Indian cricket. However, Delhi’s Mohit Ahlawat had notched up a triple century in a local Delhi tournament earlier in February. Opening the batting for Rizvi College, young Dhanday launched a merciless attack on P Dalmiya College bowlers slamming as many as 15 sixes and 21 fours in his unbeaten knock of 200. Dhanday’s blistering stroke play led his team to a mammoth 322 for 2 in 20 overs. The 19-year Rudra, who is also an U-19 Mumbai cricketer, reached the three figure mark in just 39 balls and then went to score another 100 runs in just 28 balls. World's highest T20 individual score belongs to Sri Lankan first-class player Dhanuka Pathirana, who smashed 277 runs off 72 balls in a Twenty20 match in Lancashire's Saddleworth League way back in 2007. Rizvi College went on to win the match by a massive 247 runs as P Dalmiya College were bowled out for a paltry 75 in reply.
