Nitish Kumar on Tuesday resigned as Chief Minister of Bihar amid the ongoing political crisis. Kumar quit the top post after meeting Bihar Govenor at Raj Bhawan. Before resigning as CM, he also broke JDU's alliance with BJP in the state.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday expanded his two-member cabinet with 18 ministers, nine each of BJP and Shiv Sena, taking oath at a ceremony at Raj Bhavan in south Mumbai.

The BJP leaders inducted into the cabinet, include the party's state chief Chandrakant Patil, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Vijaykumar Gavit, Girish Mahajan, Suresh Khade, Ravindra Chavan, Atul Save, and Mangalprabhat Lodha.

The Aam Aadmi Party on Tuesday said it has been accorded 'state party' status in Goa by the Election Commission based on a review of its performance in the February Assembly elections. The Arvind Kejriwal-led party has already got state party status in Delhi and Punjab, where it is in power.

Former US President Donald Trump on Monday, claimed that the FBI is conducting a search of his Mar-a-Lago estate. The 45th US President released a lengthy statement, where he declared his Florida home was “under siege”.

BCCI on Monday, announced a 15-member Indian squad for the upcoming Asia Cup T20 tournament. The former Indian captain Virat Kohli is back in action as he makes a return after a break. Kohli last played his international match against England in the White-ball series in June.
