Community RJ Varsha Raikwar sets an example for climate and water conservation | Ladies First Ep-17

Episode Description

On ABP Live Podcasts we are honouring the real Girl Bosses of 21st century, women who have made a mark in the world and established themselves no matter the kind of struggles they had to face. And the Girl Boss whom we are talking to today on Ladies First is RJ Varsha Raikwar from Bundelkhand. Belonging to Bundelkhand in North India, Varsha has been a climate champion from a very young age. Currently working as a Radio Jockey, she uses her voice to educate Bundelkhand on the grassroot level about resource management, waste, eco-friendly habits and spread the message to the rural population through community-driven events such as seminars and street plays. Varsha also supports The Women Climate Collective which is a community that seeks to increase the representation of women’s voices and perspectives in climate led by a team of inspiring women climate champions from different states across India. To find out how Varshan raikwar uses community radio to bring people's attention towards climate issues, how she became a United Nations Young Climate Leader 2021 and also to listen to her sing, tune into today's episode of Ladies First with Varsha Raikwar and Niharika Nanda only on ABP Live Podcasts.
