Kanhayia Lal's murderers Riyaz Attari and Gauz Mohammed were associated with a radical Islamist organization called Dawat-e-Islami. This radical organization follows a law called the Ish Ninda Kanoon. This law states that whoever insults Islam or Allah should be killed. Surprisingly. No such blasphemy exits in India but throughout the years extremist individuals have made some horrific murders influenced by this blasphemy for hurting religious sentiments.
