Congress party is on the hunt again for its President, its anchor and the top names that have surfaced are Rajasthan's Cheif Minister Ashok Gehlot and the MP of Thiruvananthapuram Mr Shashi Tharoor. The last non Gandhi president of the Congress party was Sitaram Kesri, who served from 1996 - 98. And since then the Gandhis namely Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi has been occupying the seat of the party president. A lot of hue and cry has been going on over the election of the Congress President with party insiders reportedly wanting a non Gandhi to lead the party.
