Telangana Minister KTR Inaugurates Bosch Global Software Technologies Facility In Hyderabad

Telangana IT and Industries Minister KT Rama Rao inaugurated a facility of Bosch Global Software Technologies in Hyderabad on Wednesday.

The 1.5 lakh sq ft facility will accommodate 3,000 employees. The company currently has about 1,400 employees. It will focus on artificial intelligence, e-mobility, Internet of things, safety and other aspects.

Speaking at the event, KTR said Bosch's new campus was testimony to the engineering talent and innovation ecosystem present in Telangana. 'Our government's focus on providing world-class infrastructure to tech companies helped attract various corporations while propelling Hyderabad as the ideal tech city in the country,' KTR said.

The minister said Telangana was setting up Mobility Valley in the state and it would have multiple stakeholders like EV manufacturers, battery makers, recyclers. It will have designated zones for engineering, manufacturing, battery testing, innovation, and talent.

KTR said home-grown companies like Mahindra, MRF, Olectra, Mythra and Race Energy have also set up new centres in Telangana.
