The Sonet looks like a proper Kia with a tiger nose mesh grille while the headlamps have DRLs but we think the design gets more looks than a Seltos especially the front.

The Kia Sonet will come with three engine options with one diesel and two petrol ones including a turbo-petrol unit. All would be BS6 as by that time it would be compulsory.

As expected, the feature list is long. Just like younger brother Seltos, the Sonet will have a 10.25 inch touchscreen plus UVO connected technology and a Bose audio as well.

From sides, it is proper SUV with big wheel arches while the design makes it look more rugged with off-road touch. The Sonet also has big wheels when compared to rivals.

Speaking about the rear look, there is connected tail-lamp all across the car with 'Kia' written at the back. It again looks premium and more expensive than rivals.

At the ongoing 'Auto Expo 2020', Kia has revealed its compact SUV for India which would be its third launch in India. Called as Sonet, it is using the same name philosophy and will be launched around the starting of September this year. It will have a wide range of engines and also an interior filled with technology and features including e-sim based technology. The Kia Sonet is a compact SUV and by that we mean it is below the 4m category. It competes with the Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza and Mahindra XUV300 plus the Ford EcoSport along with the recently updated Tata Nexon.
