Members of the Muslim community offer namaz on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, at Jama Masjid in New Delhi. The festival commemorates an episode from the Quran (also common to Judaism and Christianity) in which Ibrahim (also known as Abraham) follows Allah's (God's) command to sacrifice his son, Ismael (also known as Isaac). Before Ibrahim could carry it out, god intervenes and provides a lamb for the sacrifice. (PTI Photo/Atul Yadav)(PTI01-08-2020_000003B)
