Sushant Case: Rhea Chakraborty Makes 6 Big Revelations In Her Bail Plea; Claims She Has Been Subjected To A ‘Witch-Hunt’

After the lockdown was imposed in the country, the ‘MS Dhoni: The Untold Story’ actor’s mental health slowly started to deteriorate, Rhe said in her plea. “Though during the initial days of lockdown, he seemed stable, the death of Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor seemed to take a toll on him and he spiraled back into depression. Rajput refused any treatment/medication for that,” the actress further added.

“The ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy’ actor planned and decided to move to Pawna for farming. Owing to this, the late actor even asked Rhea Chakraborty to leave and go back to her house all of a sudden on January 9, 2020. Then on January 10, he again called back the actress and she came back. Sushant then let her know that he was inspired to fight his own battle as he had watched Jim Carrey’s journey about depression,” Rhea said in her plea. The actress further revealed that on January 9, he even called Rumy Jaffery and apologised to him informing that he would not be able to do the film.

“Sushant Singh Rajput’s family did not seem excessively concerned about his mental health though he used to inform them about his depression,” Rhea claimed in her plea. The ‘Jalebi’ actress also claimed that SSR felt his sisters were merely after his money. “Three of his sisters arrived in Mumbai in the third week of November 2019 and informed him that they were taking him to Chandigarh for his further treatment. The ‘Dil Bechara’ actor however, on November 26, called Rhea and told her that he would not be travelling to Chandigarh because he felt his sisters were after his money. All his sisters left Mumbai that very night leaving him at the peak of his depression,” Chakraborty said in her plea.

Rhea Chakraborty further said in her bail plea that the ‘Kai Po Che!’ actor liked the concept of ‘entourage’ as he was inspired by the American sitcom ‘Entourage’. “He liked living with his friends and since he was away from his family, SSR liked to help out his friends who had the dream to make a name for themselves in Mumbai. He also liked to help people who would share similar interests with him including astronomy, global welfare and Artificial Intelligence. The late actor used to live with his friends Sidharth Pithani, Aayush Sharma, Sam, Himanshu,” she said.

The ‘Mere Dad Ki Maruti’ actress shared details about her and SSR’s relationship. Rhea claimed that on April 2019, when she returned to Mumbai after spending a day with the late actor, the latter convinced her to return back to Pawna and soon after, they started dating each other. The ‘Chehre’ actress also revealed that Rajput wanted to document his own life just to clear the perception people had about him as a person. Siddharth Pithani had taken several videos and would often engage with SSR in his daily prayers by playing an instrument.

The judicial custody of Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has been extended till October 6. The ‘Jalebi’ actress was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on September 8. Recently, Rhea filed a bail application in the HC claiming that she is innocent and the agency is ‘deliberately’ trying to strict charges against her and her family. The actress further added that she has been subjected to a witch-hunt and all of these have taken a ‘severe toll on her mental health and well-being’. The hearing on her bail plea will take place on Thursday (September 24) as the Bombay HC declared a holiday on September 23 due to heavy rains in Mumbai.
