Ganesh Chaturthi 2020: Neil Nitin Mukesh Welcomes ‘Bappa’ Home Amid COVID-19 Crisis; Poses With Ganpati Idol

Shilpa Shetty also brought home her Ganpati idol on Thursday (August 20). She wore gloves and masks as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.

"This year’s decoration has been completely done by me and baby Nurvi. We have restricted from getting anything from outside and decorated his room like a country yard with minimal decorations comprising of white jasminum sambac and yellow marigolds," Neil Nitin Mukesh said in a statement.

Neil Nitin Mukesh and his family have decided to make their celebrations a private affair due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Neil Nitin Mukesh has opted for the theme ‘new beginnings’ this year. Hence, he has brought home an eco-friendly Ganpati bappa. This year, the ‘New York’ actor will celebrating the festival in an eco-friendly manner for the very first time at his new home in South Mumbai.

Ganesh Chaturthi is considered as one of the most awaited festivals in India. Devotees celebrate the 10-day long festival with full fervor and enthusiasm in Maharashtra. They welcome their favourite Lord Ganesha into their homes and seek blessings from home. Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh brought home his Ganesha on Thursday (August 20).
