A string of high-profile personalities- from celebrities to politicians - across the world have been diagnosed with Coronavirus.

Basketball player Rudy Gobert was also tested positive for Coronavirus. Rudy reportedly joked about the Coronavirus during an interview session with the reporters. The 27-year-old, who plays for Utah Jazz, penned a heartfelt post on social media. He wrote, “I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of concern and support over the last 24 hours. Chelsea footballer Callum Hudson-Odoi became the first Premier League player to get diagnosed with Coronavirus. The 19-year-old has shared a video to thank his fans for their wishes. “Thank you for all your good wishes, as I said in the video I’m feeling good and hope to see you all soon!!,” the caption for the post read. Veteran actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson were one of the first public figures to announce that they were diagnosed with Coronavirus during a trip to Australia. The Academy Award-winning actor issued a statement that read, "Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers, too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the coronavirus, and were found to be positive."
