US Continues To Reel Under COVID-19 Fury As Pandemic Claims Over 80,000 Lives

The fury of the Coronavirus pandemic seems  unrelenting and far from over in the United States as the number of COVID-19 deaths in the nation swelled above the 80,000 mark on Monday, reaching 80,087, according to the Center for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University.

The economic superpower which has faced the maximum brunt of the pandemic is in the midst of opening up the economy in a phased manner so as to get the derailed economy back into some motion.

America marked that grim death toll on Monday as almost every US state has envisaged a plan to partially reopen some businesses even as the threat of the virus looms large.
