Three Indian teen siblings from Telangana killed in fire at Christmas Eve in US

Naik teens were attending a school in Mississippi. When the school closed for winter break, the students could not go home to India so the Coudriets invited them to stay in their home.

New Delhi: Three Indian teenage siblings from Telangana have been killed in a house fire on Christmas Eve in the US state of Tennessee, along with a 46-year-old woman. The Teenagers were living with the family of Kari Coudriet of Collierville, Tennessee through the holidays. The deceased teens - Sharron (17), Joy (15) and Aaron (14) belonged to the Naik family from India. The Naik family is missionaries from India that Coudriet’s Church supported. The Coudriet family was hosting, housing, and celebrating Christmas with the three teenagers. As per reports, the Naik teens were attending a school in Mississippi. When the school closed for winter break, the students could not go home to India so the Coudriets invited them to stay in their home. "Kari Coudriet - of Collierville, Tennessee - as well as Sharron, 17, Joy, 15, and Aaron, 14 - teen siblings of the Naik family from India - all died in the fire," a statement issued by the Coudriet's church, Collierville Bible Church read. "A fire started around 11 o'clock pm at the Coudriet home (on December 23). The Coudriet family was hosting, housing, and celebrating Christmas with three teenagers attending an Academy here in the States. The Naik family are missionaries in India that our church supports," the church said. Kari's husband Danny and their son Cole were able to make it out of the home. Both are expected to survive. The Indian teens were studying at the French Camp Academy in Mississippi. "They have been a blessing to the French Camp community and are loved by our whole town," the Academy posted on social media while condoling their death.
