Sushma Swaraj slams Pakistan foreign minister Qureshi over 'googly' remark; says it 'exposed' him

Sushma took to Twitter to reply to Qureshi’s remark. Lashing out at him , she wrote “Mr.Foreign Minister of Pakistan - Your 'googly' remarks in a dramatic manner has exposed none but YOU. This shows that you have no respect for Sikh sentiments. You only play 'googlies'."

New Delhi: External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Saturday slammed Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi for his “googly” remark and said it exposed the real face of Pakistan which has no respect for Sikh sentiments. Qureshi had said on Thursday that Pakistan Prime Minister Khan bowled a "googly" to ensure Indian government's presence at the groundbreaking ceremony of the landmark Kartarpur Corridor. His statement came a day after Sushma Swaraj ruled out any possibility of recommencement of bilateral talks with Pakistan unless it stops cross-border terror activities against India. You only play 'googlies'." She further said: "Let me explain to you that we were not trapped by your 'googlies'. Our two Sikh Ministers went to Kartarpur Sahib to offer prayers in the Holy Gurudwara". Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan laid foundation stone of the proposed Kartarpur Sahib Corridor that will link the two gurudwaras on both sides of the border in a grand ceremony which was attended by Indian Union Ministers Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardeep Singh Puri, apart from Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu. However, Pakistan on Saturday said the Kartarpur corridor initiative was taken solely to fulfil the longstanding wishes of “Sikh brethren".
