If Oppn Takes Over, They Will Do Slavery Of America: Imran Khan Address Nation Ahead Of Trust-Vote

“The nation must decide, either to stand with the good side or bad,” he said in a public address, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) tweeted.

New Delhi: Asserting the nation must decide either to “stand with the good side or bad”, embattled Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan on Saturday alleged the Opposition will do slavery of the United States if they take over.

The Prime Minister’s remarks came ahead of Sunday’s no-trust motion against him.

“The nation must decide, either to stand with the good side or bad,” he said in a public address, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) tweeted.

The Prime Minister, who has been accused by the opposition parties of bad governance and economic incompetence, also used the occasion to question Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leader Khawaja Asif.

“I ask Khawaja Asif, you were in the government for all these years, aren’t you the one who putted Pakistan on life saving machine?” Khan asked.

“Tomorrow they’ll see how I battle against their plot,” he added.

The Prime Minister stated there are two forces which are safeguarding Pakistan.

“Our army and PTI as we are the only national party,” he added.

Taking potshots at the United States, Khan alleged a conspiracy to remove him from power.

"Even our Parliament Committee has seen this official document, which says that if you remove Imran you will have good terms with America,” he said, ANI reported.

Earlier in the day, Pakistan Army Chief General Qamar Bajwa said Islamabad sought to broaden and expand relations with both China and the US “without impacting our relations with [either]”.

“Pakistan does not believe in camp politics and our bilateral relations with our partners are not at the expense of our relationships with other countries,” General Bajwa said speaking about Islamabad’s relations with other countries, including the United States, Dawn reported.

“Equally, we share a long and excellent strategic relationship with the US which remains our largest export market,” he added.
