Pakistan Designer Moazzam Khan, 2 Sons Stabbed In Karachi Air Force Complex Over Car Parking Dispute

Fashion designer Mohammad Moazzam Khan and his two sons were injured in a knife attack during a parking dispute with a neighbour in Falcon Complex Society off Sharea Faisal.

Karachi: In a terrifying incident, Famous Pakistan Fashion designer Mohammad Moazzam Khan and his two sons were stabbed in Karachi over a parking dispute in Pakistan's Air Force Falcon Complex on Tuesday.  It is being said that Moazzam Khan and his two young sons were injured in a knife attack allegedly by their neighbour over a car parking dispute in Falcon Complex Society off Sharea Faisal.

Pakistan daily 'Dawn' reported that the incident took place Tuesday night when Moazzam was embroiled in an argument over a parking issue with a person identified as Ibrahim Durrani.

Reports suggest that a man ( presently suspected to be Ibrahim) used a small key chain knife to attack Moazzam and his two sons. 

A video clip of the initial confrontation shared on social media showed a man complaining to the alleged attacker that he had reversed his car in an inappropriate manner and when confronted about it he hurled abuses.

A second clip showed the fight had escalated, with the suspect charging at two people with his knife, which he had been holding in his hand throughout the conversation. The last part of the video showed a person lying on the ground unconscious as his family members and neighbours attempted to revive him.

The Sharea Faisal police had registered an FIR about the incident.

The Tribune (Pakistan) reported that the incident took place when one party had parked his car on the road while the other objected to it and a scuffle ensued in which a small keychain knife was used resulting in injuries to Moazzam and his two young sons, Fahad and Atta.

No arrests have been made in the case so far. 

The wounded father and his sons are out of danger and have been discharged from hospital after first aid.

According to the FIR, the complainant designer Moazzam said he was present in his house on the night of March 16 when he heard some noise and came outside.

He claimed that his neighbour Ibrahim Durrani allegedly used abusive language and attacked him with a knife with intention of murder. He suffered wounds on his head.

In the meantime, his two sons Fahad and Atta came out from the home and tried to save their father but he (Durrani) also attacked them and stabbed them. Fahad received wounds on his ear while Atta suffered injuries on his back.

The complainant claimed that in the meantime, Khalid Durrani, father of the suspect also came out and asked his son “to beat them more”. Ibrahim Durrani is the son of Pakistan Airforce Air commodore K H Durrani.

The complainant said the CCTV footage of the incident was there which showed Ibrahim Durrani carrying a knife in his hand.

He said despite being injured, he took both his wounded sons to a private hospital for treatment.

The suspect Ibrahim fled the scene and even threatened Moazzam and family not to go to the police.
