New Delhi: When the Pakistan Cricket Board unveiled the trophy for the much-awaited Twenty-20 series against Australia, it might not have anticipated that it will have to face endless trolling on social media for it. The trophy that is shaped like a huge biscuit mounted on three stumps triggered a series of jokes and memes on the micro-blogging website Twitter. Amid the wave of jokes, the ICC too trolled the ‘trophy’ with a hilarious meme. The tweet by the official handle of Pakistan Cricket Board had a picture of the ‘biscuit trophy’ being held on either side by Australian skipper Aaron Finch or Pakistan captain Sarfaraz Ahmed. It immediately caught the attention of trolls who took no time to make it go viral. The cricket board of Pakistan which is hosting Australia in a three-match series had tweeted: “Brighto presents TUC Cup 2018 #PAKvAUS T20I series trophy unveiling ceremony,” with the image of the trophy.
