Hezbollah Chief Hassan Nasrallah’s Son-in-Law Killed In Israeli Raid on Mazzeh Neighborhood in Damascus
Israeli strike hit the first floor of a three-story building frequented by Hezbollah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps leaders in he Mazze district of Damascus.
Hassan Jaafar al-Qasir, the son-in-law of Hezbollah chief Hassan Nasrallah, was reportedly killed in an Israeli raid in Damascus Wednesday. This came after Nasrallah was killed last week in a massive Israeli strike in Beirut.
"Hassan Jaafar al-Qasir, the son-in-law of Hassan Nasrallah, was among two Lebanese victims of the Israeli raid which targeted an apartment in a residential building in the Mazze district of Damascus," news agency AFP reported quoting the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights. The claim was confirmed by a source close to Hezbollah to AFP.
As per a report by Xinhua, at least four were injured in the Israeli strike which hit the first floor of a three-story building frequented by Hezbollah and Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps leaders. Wednesday's attack marks the second Israeli airstrike in the area this week.
On Tuesday morning, Israel targeted a site approximately 500 meters from the current target, killing three people, including a journalist. At least nine others were also injured in the incident.
