Fire Breaks Out In Vehicle Manufacturing Company In Daman And Diu, 10-12 Fire Tenders On Spot To Douse Blaze
A fire broke out in a vehicle manufacturing company, Rawalvasiya Yarn Dyeing Pvt Ltd, in the Hathiyawal area of Daman. No casualties were reported.
A fire broke out in a vehicle manufacturing company, Rawalvasiya Yarn Dyeing Pvt Ltd, in the Hathiyawal area of Daman. Around 15 fire engines reached the spot to control the fire. No casualties were reported in this fire incident. Speaking about the incident, Assistant Director Fire and Emergency Services, Dadra & Nagar Haveli, Daman & Diu A K Wala said that the information about the fire was received at 11:50 PM and when the team of engineers reached the spot the whole building was engulfed in fire.

He said that all neighbouring firefighting agencies are present and the spot and all efforts are underway to douse off the fire, adding that it would take an hour or so to control it.
“We received information about a fire in Rawalvasiya Yarn Dyeing Pvt Ltd company at 11:50 PM. We came here & saw that a whole building was engulfed in fire. All neighbouring firefighting agencies are here. Around 10-12 fire tenders are working to put the fire out. This company makes yarn, & yarn has high flammability. It will take time to control the fire. We will control this within 1-2 hours,” A K Wala said as quoted by the news agency ANI.
Earlier on Sunday night, two persons were injured after a massive fire broke out on Pune-Satara Road and spread to three different shops. According to officials, the fire broke out near Dmart around 2.30 am. On receiving information, seven fire tenders were rushed to the spot.
According to the fire department, the blaze triggered some blasts that helped the flames spread further.
The officials informed further that one of the shops that caught fire dealt in home and kitchen appliances while another was a mobile phone store. The fire is under control, officials added.
