A man was killed in an incident that occurred in Bharatpur, Rajasthan when he was run over by a tractor during a clash over a long-standing land dispute, news agency PTI reported on Wednesday citing officials. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reacted quickly to the incident, criticising the ruling Congress party and demanding accountability.

The Allahabad High Court recently said that liking an "obscene" post on Facebook or X (formerly Twitter) would not constitute an offence under Section 67 of the Information Technology Act. However, sharing or reposting such content would amount to "transmission" under Section 67 of the IT Act and will be punishable.

Armita Geravand, an Iranian teenage girl who sustained injuries in a mysterious incident on Tehran's Metro while not wearing a headscarf, has passed away, Iranian state media IRNA reported.
