New Delhi: Congress leaders continued their protests on day 2 over ED probe in the National Herald case against party leader Rahul Gandhi. On Monday, several congress leaders have been detained by the police during which party senior leader P Chidambaram had reportedly suffered an airline fracture.
Several Congress leaders were detained on Tuesday but drama unfolded when the police forcefully detained National Youth Congress President Srinivas BV. In a video, it's seen that the police forcefully took Srinivas into the van to detain while the party leaders were protesting in New Delhi against Rahul Gandhi's ED probe in the National Herald case.

Earlier on Monday, Srinivas ran away from police to avoid detention as Congress leaders turned up in huge numbers outside the Enforcement Directorate office in Delhi.
After grilling Gandhi for over 10 hours on Monday in National Herald case, the ED officials have asked the Congress leader to appear again on Tuesday.
The investigation is on potential financial irregularities at the Young Indian newspaper, which is owned by the party. The Associated Journals Limited (AJL) publishes the National Herald, which is owned by Young Indian Pvt Limited.
The National Herald case dates back 10 years to 2012 when BJP leader Subramaniam Swamy filed a complaint of money laundering against Congress leaders. He also alleged that Associated Journals Ltd. was acquired by Young India Ltd in a malicious way.
