Bhopal: A bizarre incident has to light where people were seen looting fuel after petrol tanker going from Gwalior to Sheopur overturned near Pohri area in Madhya Pradesh.
As soon as the tanker crashed, there was a loot of petrol. All the local people as well as the passers-by rushed to take away as much petrol as possible in their vessles. After looking for bottles around, people even started pouring petrol in their vehicles.

Meanwhile, the cleaner of the truck, who was injured in the accident, was lying on the road in agony, but no one bothered to help him. The driver of the tanker meanwhile tried to convince people not to steal away the petrol but one one listened to him.
The incident has come at the time when petrol, diesel are being sold at hefty prices. Fuel prices have been increased 25 times since May 4. So far in June, petrol and diesel rates have been hiked nine times. Since May 4, petrol price has crossed Rs 100-per-litre mark in seven states and UTs (Union Territories) - Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, and Ladakh.
At present, petrol costs Rs 102.82 per litre while diesel is retailing at Rs 94.84 a litre in Mumbai. In Delhi, Petrol costs Rs 96.66 per litre, while diesel price stands at Rs 87.41 a litre.
