The men suddenly started screaming and thrashing 19-year-old Anirudho who pleaded with them but, the mob did not pay heed. After the incident, the boy was taken to M R Bangur government hospital in a very bad condition by his friends, and later shifted to a private hospital where he passed away after succumbing to injuries According to the boy’s mother, Anirudho wasn’t keeping well since a few days, and she asked Anirudho’s friends to take him out for fresh air. But Anirudho’s mother’s “worst nightmare” came true when she heard about the incident. Victim’s father has also accused the cops of taking the matter very lightly and refusing to file a report when approached by the family.
