YouTuber Sumit Verma apologises for 'kissing prank' fearing backlash

New Delhi: Amid the outrage in the country over the recent molestation in tech city Bengaluru, here is a guy who is being slammed for creating “pranks videos” in which he goes to random girls, kisses them and runs away. This person named Sumit Verma blatantly outrages a woman’s modesty with his dreadful prank and defines the compilation as the “funniest Indian YouTube prank of 2017”.  He easily gets away from some serious spanking by saying it’s just a prank and the “victim” is being shot on camera by his crew. To name a few of his disgraceful videos from his ‘The Crazy Sumit’ YouTube channel - the list goes as ‘kissing prank’, ‘seducing girl prank on dad’, ‘peeing on people prank’, ‘seducing girl in washroom prank’, ‘sex with girlfriend prank on mom’. With the safety of women and insensitivity against them gathering a lot of media attention, Sumit has gone on to apologize as he presumably fears legal action. This video has been removed for violating YouTube's policy on harassment and bullying, read a message while cliking on the particular video. “I never knew the kissing and running prank will go so viral and have such a bad impact. I really apologize, never wanted to hurt anyone. It was just shot for entertainment purposes. I respect women and I would never do anything like that again,” Sumit pleaded in a video message. However, before his apology, rapper and singer Raftaar was expressed his ire on Facebook  and warned Sumit by saying “if ever he ever does such a prank again on any girl then he (Raftaar) would drag him out of his house and belt him in public”. “Yeh jo KISSING PRANK bana raha hai.
