Rahul Gandhi's white T-shirt has grabbed many a headline from time to time. Considered to be among the fittest politicians in the country, he is projected as a youth icon. He's often seen pairing his white T-shirt with a pair of dark blue or black baggy trousers or cargo, and fisherman sandals or sneakers. He has now begun a 'White T-Shirt Army' campaign and has announced a giveaway for certain people.

During the Bharat Jodo Yatra early last year and in November-December 2022, he was seen marching throughout India wearing just the white T-shirt, cargo, and sneakers. He had then said that he doesn't feel cold and that he feels for the poor in the nation who have never been asked if they suffered from the cold or not. 

How To Get Rahul Gandhi's White T-Shirt?

On his birthday (June 19), Rahul Gandhi again spoke about why he is always seen sporting the typical white T-shirt. In an X post, the Congress MP from Raebareli said: "My heartfelt thanks to all of you for your birthday wishes. I am often asked why I always wear a 'white T-shirt' - this T-shirt symbolises transparency, solidity and simplicity for me."

In May this year, Rahul Gandhi spoke about his white T-shirt in a 'rapid-fire' video with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge while campaigning in Karnataka.  "I just don't care much about clothes. I prefer it (to be) simple," he said.

He also announced a giveaway of his white T-shirt. He said: "Where and how useful are these values ​​in your life? Use #WhiteTshirtArmy and tell me in a video. And, I will gift you a white T-shirt."
