“Direct President’s Rule Can’t Be Imposed”

Rajnath Singh said: "Under both Left and the Trinamool Congress, Bengal continued to fall behind. The law and order situation has worsened”. He said that the responsibility of law in the state is that of the state government. Due to the Federal system, direct President’s rule cannot be imposed".

"I do not want to comment on Mamata Banerjee personally, but as CM, she has not lived up to the aspirations she had set for Bengal. The promises made were not fulfilled. The condition of Bengal has been very bad. The people of Bengal are looking towards the BJP with hope," he added.

“BJP Will Hit Sixes Like Sourav Ganguly”

"We are ready to hit Sixers in the electoral ground this time. When Saurabh Ganguly used to get out of the crease, everyone used to say that he is going to hit sixes. Similarly, BJP is preparing to hit Sixer in Bengal this time. BJP will win more than 200 seats in the assembly," Rajnath Singh said as he reiterated his poll pitch.
