Between September 4 and 7, Coastal Andhra Pradesh & Yanam, as well as Coastal Karnataka, may experience isolated heavy downpours. Additionally, Telangana is expected to see isolated heavy rainfall today.
Notably, both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are witnessing flash floods due to heavy rains that have lashed the southern states.
The IMD warns of potential impacts from the forecasted heavy rainfall, including localised flooding, reduced visibility, and possible damage to infrastructure. The department advises the public to exercise caution, particularly in areas prone to waterlogging and flash floods.
