WATCH: Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi Calls J&K As An ‘Indian State’
In its official communications, Pakistan has been referring to Jammu and Kashmir as "Indian Administered Kashmir".
NEW DELHI: After his speech at the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) session in Geneva, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Tuesday referred to Jammu and Kashmir as an "Indian state".
While addressing reporters in Geneva, Pakistan foreign minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi said, "India is trying to give an impression to the world that life has returned to normalcy. If the life has returned to normalcy, then I'll say why don't they allow you, the international media, international organisations, the NGOs, civil society organisations to go into the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir and see for themselves what the reality is?”
“They're lying through their teeth, and once the curfew is lifted, the reality comes out, the world will wake up to the catastrophe that is underway right now." Qureshi further added.
In its official communications, Pakistan has been referring to Jammu and Kashmir as "Indian Administered Kashmir". Pakistan has time and again reiterated its diabolic rhetoric to the world community and urged their interference especially after New Delhi revoked the constitutional status of Jammu and Kashmir last month. On its part, India has voiced that the issue, which has been internationalized by Islamabad after the abrogation of Article 370, is "strictly internal" to the country.
