Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will address a 'Mahila Shakti Samvad' rally in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh on Sunday as she released a manifesto for women recently. In this 'Shakti Samvad' she will interact with the local women.

Significantly Raebareli is the parliamentary constituency of Congress President Sonia Gandhi. As a result, the 'Shakti Samvad' initiated by Priyanka with women, will be beneficial in the upcoming elections. Vadra's visit to Raebareli is considered important in order to make up for the void created by the recent joining of MLA Aditi Singh from Rae Bareli assembly seat to BJP.
After Vadra announced about 40 percent tickets to be given to women by Congress in the upcoming elections she also identifies probable candidates in the respective areas where she organized 'Mahila Samvad' rallies in various regions. At the same time, the Congress is trying to secure votes of half the population of the state by prominently bringing to light the issues of women in these rallies.
