Manish Maheshwari posted the farewell as his Twitter India chief and wrote, "I do not have words to thank my team. May you stand by me as my strength and inspiration even in my challenging times.
When I started my tenure, I knew it would be special to spend time with you and be with each other in the office. After some time, Corona changed everything but it could not change your perseverance and maturity. Thereafter, you joined a square block video call. But what you did was game-changing. You made Twitter India the lifeline of the nation during the second wave of the Covid epidemic.
Manish said, "I have learnt a lot from all of you. We have worked in the toughest times of our era. We are more than a team, we are a family.
Twitter has called Manish Maheshwari to the US at that time when Twitter said he was concerned about the safety of his employees in India. At the same time, this week, Twitter blocked the Twitter account of Leader of the Opposition and Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi. Rahul Gandhi had tweeted about the murder and rape of a 9-year-old girl after which Twitter blocked his account. Rahul Gandhi accused Twitter of being biased when his account was blocked.
