Toolkit Case: 2 More Names Identified As Delhi Police Unearth 'New Doc' To Spread Fake News

Police have informed that Marina Patterson has drafted another document (likely similar to toolkit) which reportedly talks about spreading fake news.

New Delhi: Two new names have been indentified in the controversial 'toolkit' case related to farmers' protest - Thilaka and Marina Patterson. As per sources in Police department told ABP News, Marina Patterson works as a Relationship Manager in Mo Dhaliwal's firm. Dhaliwal is the founder of Canada-based pro-Khalistan outfit Poetic Justice Foundation and runs a Vancouver-based digital branding creative agency called Skyrocket. Police have informed that Peterson has drafted another document (likely similar to toolkit) which reportedly talks about spreading fake news. Meanwhile, Police is also probing the bank accounts of activist Disha Ravi, Pune-based engineer Shantanu Muluk and advocate Nikita Jacob.

"Marina Patterson from United Kingdom along with Nikita and Shantanu drafted 'Solidarity with Indian Farmers' which was hyperlink. The document contains fake details of death toll and injured protestors to spread the fake propaganda," sources said.

Earlier this week, Delhi Police seized a computer hard disk and other items from house of Shantanu Muluk, a suspect in the toolkit case. According to the statement given by Shantanu's father, Delhi Police entred his house in Maharashtra's beed without a search warrant on February 12.

According to the Delhi police, Shantanu and Mumbai-based lawyer Nikita Jacob along with arrested accused Disha Ravi, an activist from Bengaluru, were allegedly involved in preparing the document and were in direct touch with "pro-Khalistani elements".

Delhi Police also alleged that Ravi along with Jacob and Shantanu had created the toolkit and shared it with others to tarnish India's image.

Meanwhile, the Delhi Court on Tuesday allowed climate activist Disha Ravi's application seeking access to her lawyer, talktime with family during the Police custody, warm clothes, books and home-cooked food. The 21-year-old activist was arrested from Bengaluru last week in connection with allegedly editing and sharing a 'toolkit' on social media.
